PART 3 Naruto and Sakura

part 3 of Tsunade's Decision

“So what do you want to do Sakura-chan?” Naruto asked, not minding what they were doing as long as they could do it together. She was so sweet and kind. He was jealous that Sakura treats and treated Lee and Sasuke better than she treated him. This time he had her all to himself. She looked at him.

”I don’t know. Maybe to the mall.” Naruto smiled. “Sure.” he answered. He absolutely loved her, and she never gave him any attention even though he tried his best to get her back her Sasuke, and saved her more than once. He didn’t understand. He didn’t look and act that bad, did he? All he knew was Sakura was beautiful. Wait, he wondered. Why was she so sad? And why didn’t I notice it before?

They shopped for hours but her mood didn’t change. Her expressions clearly changed, but even her smile was a sad one. After they were done, they decided to go the bar to get some drinks.

Once they got there, they sat at the bare. Naruto searched though his pockets for quarters. “I’m going to if there are any good songs on the jupbox” He told her. “Ok.” she answered, not really caring. She was alone at the bar. All alone. Then a guy came and sat next to her. She looked up at him. He was really hot. “Hey.” he said smiling at her. His voice was even hotter!!

“H-hi.” she replied stuttering. “Can I buy you a drink?” he asked smoothly. She blushed. “Of coarse. A root beer would be nice right now.” she managed to say. “Alright you heard the girl!!” he shouted to the waiter. “Yes, sir.” he replied, and arrived back with an ice cold root beer. He took the drink. “I’ll open it. Are you with that weirdo?” he said pointing to Naruto. She glanced over to see where he was pointing. “Well yeah, but were not together. Me and Naruto? pft! NEVER!!! Um but yes, he is my friend. So, he’s not too bad. But he is annoying sometimes. Am I taking too much????”

He smiled. “No your not. You’re probably just thirsty. Drink up.” She took the bottle and took a big gulp of it. Naruto started to head back to his seat. “Well I better go.” He said and left. Naruto sat next to her. “Who was he?” She wobbled a bit. She felt kinda weird. “No-nobody.” She answered, glancing at the root beer bottle wondering what had happened. “Sakura-chan! What’s wrong? You look sick!!” Naruto exclaimed. Sakura realized what had happened. The boy had slipped something into her drink!!! “Naruto! I’ve been poi-“ She could feel herself blacking out. Then it was dark. Nothing but black. Then she awoke, in a bed, in a comfortable little room. She sat up. She was still in her regular clothing. She was in a room that she had never been in before.

“N-N-Naruto!!!!???” she shouted confused and scared. “Yeah, your up?” he asked from another room. She was about to climb out of bed but Naruto said not to. He entered the room with a soda in one hand and he had removed his headband.. and his shirt!!! She started to blush. He was really hot.

He gave her an angry look. “How could you do that? It was really careless. You could have died. I was really scared. You shouldn’t do things like that.” She turned away, starting to tear up. “I’m sorry Naruto.” He sat with her on the bed. “Are you ok? Sakura-chan what’s wrong? You’ve been miserable all day.”

Sakura wiped her eyes. “He reminded me of Sasuke. I miss him. I wish he never had left me all alone. Sasuke was my life. I never gave anyone else a chance, just Sasuke. He was the only one for me. I even broke my best friend out of my life to get to him. I was so close to being with him. And then he left me and the village for power. Now, I’m empty. Sasuke took my life away. And with out even thinking, or caring. Now I realize, I’ve spent most of my life trying to get something that’s untouchable. He was even a total jerk to me even if I was just trying to be nice.”

Naruto looked down, his eyes no longer full of anger but full of sorrow. He pulled her toward himself and hugged her. “You were never alone. I made sure of that. I always loved you. You should have said something.” Sakura leaned into his body, hugging him back. She felt confortable in his arms. She never wanted to leave.

“I know you loved Sasuke with all your heart. I tried to get him back. I-” “Forget about it Naruto.” Sakura interrupted. “I’m getting over him. He’s changed, he’s not the Sasuke I loved. I honestly thought I could change him. But it doesn’t matter you shouldn’t blame yourself Naruto. You did the best you could. And I thank you. You have put you life in danger to protect me many times.”

Naruto detached from the hug. He smiled. “No problem.” For some reason Sakura loved his smile. Naruto had helped her, was always there for her. She felt as if.. as if she loved him. “Naruto I think I’m falling in love with you.” She said as she blushed and looked away. Naruto was surprised. Then smiled again. “Finally there’s only one way to find out.”  

Naruto leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. Sakura felt she was in heaven, so relieved. Naruto backed away. “Well?” he asked. Sakura looked up at him and smiled. “Just shut up and kiss me again.” She answered as she pulled Naruto’s head so his lips touched hers for a second time. Naruto never saw the same look of sadness on her face again.
